How the devotionals are written

Every devotional begins with one passage of Scripture. The verse is quoted word for word from the King James Version, which is in the public domain. It is never paraphrased or invented.

The writing around the verse

The reflection, prayer and questions that follow each verse are drafted with the help of AI. They are meant as a starting point for your own reading and prayer: guidance, never authority. When something here and the passage itself seem to disagree, trust the passage.

Read it in context

A single verse can say more, or less, than the chapter around it. In the My Bible Journey app, every reference opens its full chapter, so you can read it in context.
